Snowball needs a new home! Snowball is a purebred white Persian who is about 12 years old. She is front declawed. Until her owner died, she had been a pampered lap pet who would sleep on the bed with her person at night. Unfortunately, she has spent the last few months outdoors since her owner’s death before she was brought to the shelter, so her fur isn’t quite as glorious as it will be again with some proper care. She is a very sweet little princess of a cat. She knows she’s elegant, and is quite happy to share her silky fur with someone who is willing to stroke it and appreciate it. She gets along fine with other cats, and tolerates dogs. She is probably not a cat for young children, but older children who know how to be gentle would be fine. She will need consistent grooming to prevent her fur from matting.

If you are interested in adopting Snowball, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, stop by anyway and spend some time with the cats and dogs. They love the attention while they wait for their new family to come along!

  1. I wished I lived closer. We already have 2 Persians–a brown tabby and a Ragdoll Silver Persian. What a sweet breed!

  2. Wished I lived closer. I’d adopt her as we prefer Persians because of their laid-back personalities. We have 2 already. One brown tabby and one ragdoll silver Persian. It’s easier to transition an older cat into a home with others than a kitten.
