***All Adopted!***The Jazz Kittens: Billie Holiday, Mary Lou Williams, and Miles Davis

Everyone has a home!

***Adopted!*** Billie

Billie is a sweet and silly kitten with some gorgeous tabico (tabby calico) markings! She can be a touch shy at first, but quickly warms up with the prospect of play time. She is so much fun once she really gets going!

She gets along great with other cats, as her pictures show. She has very little experience with dogs, but is young enough to adapt.

Her siblings and mother have been adopted, and now she is waiting for a home of her own as well.

Billie has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has been dewormed, including preventatives for coccidia and giardia, treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), given a medicated antifungal bath, had a negative fecal float to test for internal parasites, and has tested negative for feline leukemia.

Born appx. Sept. 15, 2018.

Come spend some time with her and meet her yourself! Shelter hours are M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-Noon. No appointment necessary. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, come spend time playing with the kitties and helping to socialize them. It makes them so happy, and more adoptable too!

Three more kittens are looking for homes! These littermates arrived with their mother Ella Fitzgerald, and were all named for Jazz singers. They are friendly and playful, each with gorgeous, bold tabby markings and tuxedo patterns. (Though Miles went and ripped his right tux sleeve off!) Miles is the most outgoing of the bunch, and loves to play. Mary Lou is sweet and curious and a little sassy, though all friendliness and play. Billie is more sensitive and shy than her siblings, but those kinds of kittens tend to bond the most strongly with their families.

All the kittens have been wormed, including preventatives for coccidia and giardia, treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), given a medicated antifungal bath, had a negative fecal float to test for internal parasites, and have tested negative for feline leukemia. They will have their age appropriate shots as part of the adoption fee, and the eventual spay/neuter when old enough. (You will need to bring them back when old enough to the vet we partner with, Riverside in Redwood Falls.)

Come meet this sweet little crew at the shelter during open hours, no appointment necessary. Hours are M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1. Call at 507-644-3853 for more information on adopting. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to stop in and play anyway! The socialization does them good.
