***Adopted!*** Maddie

***Adopted!*** Maddie

Maddie will be available for adoption as of Saturday, Dec. 15, and we are starting to accept applications for her.

Maddie is an absolute sweetheart! She is a lovable and cuddly little doll of a dog who wants nothing more than to be loved on and give love in return. She is very good natured, and has been good with every person she’s met, including children. She is excellent with other dogs; she just sniffs new dogs and declares them her friend. She has been good with the cats she’s met too.

We believe Maddie to be a purebred liver and white Brittany spaniel; someone who used to breed Brittanies had a look at her and said as much. (Though we can never guarantee the breed on a stray animal.) We believe her to be around 6 months old, as it looks like her adult canines are not fully come in yet. She weighs in at only 21 lbs., and will likely not exceed 25 lbs.

As a part of her adoption fee, Maddie will be spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She has also been wormed and treated with a flea/tick preventative.

If you are interested in adopting her, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in and meet her during open hours: M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, you are welcome to come play with her; she loves the company!

  1. I am very interested in Maddie and would live to have her join our family. We live outside of Pipestone MN on over 3 acres if room to run, play and follow her natural instincts to hunt. We have 3 small inside dogs, (Shih Tzu) and a cat that loves to harass her K-9 pals. We do not believe dogs the type of Maddie should be locked in a kennel and visited twice a day to feed and water. They need to be with the family and treated with live a kindness and taken out and allowed to run and burn off energy every day to stay healthy, supervised of course. We gave no children, other than the furry 4 legged ones. We would love to be considered for her adoptive humans. If you would like puctures if our property and where Maddie would be please e-mail or call me at 507-215-5863
