Female German shorthair pointer/ labrador retriever x.
Born appx. Sept. 1, 2018. (+/- about a week or two)
Weighs in at 45 pounds at 5 1/2 months old, and she still has a lot of growing to do.
Valkyrie is a friendly and sweet puppers! She is quite submissive, and can be a little shy of strangers, but warms up quite quickly. She has already shown herself friendly with other dogs. We were told that she is afraid of toddlers, so probably wouldn’t be a good fit for a home with young children. She is afraid of some men.
Valkyrie is quite smart. She has had a bit of training already at her young age! She knows: “Come”, “Go”, “Down”, “Sit”, “Off”, and “Stand Up” Considering her age and level of training, she performs her commands pretty consistently.
We were told by the person who surrendered her that she has some hunting potential; she has already showed an aptitude for tracking.
We were also told that she is house trained and crate trained.
Valkyrie will be spayed shortly. She will come up to date on her vaccinations, treated with a flea/tick preventative (Revolution), and wormed.
