Marshall is a happy and wiggly white boxer with loads of exuberant energy. If you know the boxer breed, you understand what I mean. 🙂 He grew up with young children and is very good with them. He is also fully house trained and has been a well taken care of house pet. The only reason he is here is that he was too much puppy energy for an already busy household, and needed a home that can meet his high needs for play and exercise. Despite his energy, he is pretty controlled and well behaved. He doesn’t jump on people, and walks pretty decently on a leash. He had some good manners trained into him, as well as some basic obedience. He gives up toys easily and is not at all food aggressive. He used to live with another small dog, but mostly just ignores other dogs and cats.
Marshall weighs in at 60 lbs.
Marshall will be neutered shortly and up to date on his vaccinations as a part of his adoption fee. He has also been dewormed and treated topically with a flea/tick preventative (Advantage.)
If you are interested in adopting, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853 or else stop in and meet him, no appointment necessary, during open hours: M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-Noon. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, stop in anyway and play with the critters; they enjoy the socializing and exercise!
