Sherman needs a new home! This cat is incredibly affectionate and full of purrs! He loves to knead when he is happy, which his most of the time. (You can even see he was kneading the blanket while I was taking his pictures!)
Sherman just got neutered, and has been updated on his vaccines. He has also been dewormed and received a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution.) He has tested negative for feline leukemia, had a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites, and has received a medicated/ antifungal bath.
If you are interested in adopting, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in during open hours; M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-Noon. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to come in and play with him, or any of the other critters, anyway. No appointment necessary; stop in anytime the shelter is open.
Sherman was originally a stray. No one came in to claim this loveable kitty, though he has clearly been someone’s pet due to how friendly he is. He was originally found with no collar, and no microchip. Found May 1, 2019, though had been hanging around a residence near the golf course since Sunday April 28. Male, domestic shorthair, spotted brown tabby. Likely a fall 2018 kitten. Super friendly. Available for adoption May 9 if unclaimed.
