Tamara, aka TamTam

Tamara, taken July 12, 2019.

Tamara, aka Tam Tam, is a very sweet and lovable cat whose ideal is sleep on her person’s bed at night and be a part of the family.

Tamara asking for some attention, taken July 2, 2019.

She shared the house with another female cat, though has no experience with dogs. She has a naturally nervous disposition, as in, she gets stressed out easily. However, she was super sweet with her last owner, and shared a bed with her every night since kittenhood. Since she has settled in at the shelter, she has proven to be super sweet here too. She accepts visitors graciously, and gets along well with her mature, quiet kitty roommates.
She just needs a quiet home without a lot of noise and activity. She would not likely do well in a home with rambunctious young children.

Tamara is spayed and up to date on her vaccinations. She is also front declawed. She tested negative for feline leukemia. She has also been wormed and treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution.)

Tamara is a spotted patched tabby, rather the usual striped. Taken July 12, 2019.

If you are interested in adopting, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in and meet her, no appointment necessary, during open hours: M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-Noon. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, we love for volunteers to stop in and play with and socialize the critters; it does them so much good!
