Brody is an amazing dog! He is so sweet and well behaved! He sits nicely, he walks quietly on a loose leash, he asks permission before going through doors, and he doesn’t jump. He loves belly rubs. He also loves cuddles and pettings, especially getting his rump scratched. He is a very smart dog who is eager to please and to learn. He is generally a chill dog, though you can really get him going playing. He gets so silly and happy! And you have to love those huge ears that perk up when he is happy. 🙂 And that cute curly tail!

He gets along well with the dogs and cats he’s met so far. He didn’t even mind when the little terrier mix he met grumped at him. Brody seem pretty submissive. He in general seems pretty chill about new people and animals. He doesn’t have a high drive to chase.

He lets me readily take his toys and mess with his food. He is not possessive about them, with me or with other animals so far. He is very gentle about taking treats.

He does appear to have some separation anxiety, though that could also be because he is at a shelter, which is a strange new place away from his family.

We don’t really know what kind of breeds are in him; he is clearly a mixed up mixed breed. The pointed ears and curly tail suggest some kind of spitz lineage, such as an Akita. He also looks like he may have some kind of terrier in him, like AmStaff. But, really, it’s all a guess. 🙂
