Violet is a sweet pampered house pet who is looking for a new family to spoil her. She is low key and mellow, and prefers to lounge around the house all day. However, she will play with toys when the mood possesses her.
Violet prefers a quieter household. Respectful older children are fine, but rambunctious younger children stress her out.
She is fine with other cats, though like most cats, needs time to adjust to new feline residents. She lived with a puppy for two years, and tolerated him. She preferred to not interact with him, but didn’t seem to worried about him either.
Violet is spayed and up to date on her shots. Her previous owner also had her front declawed. She has tested negative for feline leukemia, been wormed, and treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution.)
If you are interested in adopting Violet, come meet her at the shelter anytime it’s open, no appointment necessary: M-F 2-6 and Sat 10-noon. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, you are welcome to visit the animals anyone. They love the attention!
