Rosita and Keiko were surrendered to the shelter together. They really do enjoy each other’s company! Keiko is a lovely and sweet little snowshoe Siamese mix who is about 4 months old, and Rosita is a friendly black and white tuxedo kitten that is about 5 months old. They are both wonderful kittens that would make someone magnificent pets!

Both will spayed and will be up to date on their shots as a part of the adoption fee. They have also been wormed, tested negative for feline leukemia, had a negative fecal float to test for internal parasites, have been treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), and have been given an antifungal bath.

Guinness

Guinness needs a new home! Your guess on breed is as good as ours; maybe he has 3 or 4 breeds in him. He’s got some kind of water dog like Labrador retriever or Chesapeake Bay retriever in him, as his fur has a similar oiliness, texture, and smell to your average retriever. We are estimating him to be around 2 to 3 years old; he is a happy, energetic young dog. He is 59 pounds.
He has been introduced to multiple cats in multiple situations and did just fine with them. He can be reactive with some dogs, and others not, but as a result we would recommend he be an only dog. He has met children, and while he does have some energy and was a bit jumpy and rambunctious, he was quite friendly and seemed to very much enjoy their company. Small children may be overwhelmed by him unless the parents are willing to continue Guinness’ training to not jump on people. Just in general, he enjoys the company of people. We are not sure of his history, as he was an abandonment case, but he does appear to have been hit at his last home, as he has a strong duck reaction to fast movement. He just acts like he wants to avoid getting hurt; there is no defensiveness to him at all. He is an all around very nice, friendly dog. He is smart too; he is quite eager to learn, especially when a treat is involved. He wants to please.

Guinness has been neutered and will come up to date on his shots as a part of his adoption fee. He has also been wormed and treated topically with a flea/tick/mite preventative (Vectra 3D)

If you are interested in adopting Guinness, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or stop in during open hours and meet him, no appointment necessary. Hours are M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to come play with or walk Guinness while he waits for a forever home; he will greatly appreciate it!

Casper as a kitten, about 8 weeks old.

Casper needs a new home! He is a very sweet and sensitive young cat who was recently surrendered to the shelter. He would likely do best in a quieter home without young children, though he gets along well with other cats and seems fine with dogs. For fun I have also included some kitten pictures of him.

He is front declawed.

Casper, as a part of his adoption fee, will be neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, has been wormed, treated with ant-giardia and anti-coccidia medications as preventatives, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), and has had an antifungal bath. Tank

Tank

Tank needs a new home! He was surrendered to the shelter through no fault of his own. He is a friendly and outgoing young cat who is not yet a year old. He loves as much attention as he can get. He also loves to be a part of whatever you are doing; he is a very curious creature!

Tank, as a part of his adoption fee, will be neutered and up to date on his vaccinations, has been wormed, treated with ant-giardia and anti-coccidia medications as preventatives, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), and has had an antifungal bath.
