Hazel

Female/spayed, Domestic longhair, patched tabby. Born appx 2012.

Hazel

This is one of the sweetest, cuddliest cats you will ever meet! She arrived at the shelter in rather rough shape; she had a huge abscess on her neck, terrible ear mites that also caused a rather bad ear infection, and several rotten teeth that needed removing. All of this has been fixed up and healed, and she is now queen of the front room, greeting our guests as they arrive. Despite her being a little older cat, she will drop her regalness to play from time to time. She has very quickly become a staff and volunteer favorite.

Note: The vet says she appears to have a condition called reabsorptive syndrome, which causes her body to attack her own teeth. There is a chance she will need more pulled in the future. But for now, she doing well and eats her kibble without issue.

Hazel is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. She has tested negative for feline leukemia, been wormed, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative, given a medicated/antifungal bath, and has had a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites.

If you are interested in adopting, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in during open hours, no appointment necessary, M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to stop in and play with the critters.

Dolly

Female, Domestic shorthair, black and white

Born appx. 2017

Dolly

Dolly is a real sweetheart of a kitty! She came in to the shelter with 10 kittens, only half of which were actually hers, though she was doing her best to care for all of them anyway. She is no longer with the kittens and is now looking forwards to a new home where she can just relax and get all sorts of pets.

Alexandra, Mimi, and Josephine

Alexandra, Mimi, and Josephine are three lovely littermates who all needs homes. They were surrendered with their mother, Stella. They were born on Dec. 2, 2018. All three are sweet and friendly.

Each kitten will be spayed or neutered when old enough as a part of his or her adoption fee. ***Stray Hold until 2-19*** Wrenna

Wrenna

Wrenna was found as a stray in town in Redwood Falls. She is sweet and friendly and clearly used to people.

Born appx. Summer 2018.

Kalypso

Kalypso

Born appx. 2015. Super sweet and friendly! This lovely Siamese mix with the big blue eyes showed up at someone’s house one day in Redwood Falls. She has some frostbite on her nose, around her eyes, and on her ear tips. She is very interesting in her coloration; she is a patched tabby point, meaning her colorpoints are a mix of orange and brown tabby. She is also spotted, with a mix of tan and white splotches resulting. She is very colorful and unique. She is very friendly too; she can’t get enough petting.

A better view of Kalypso’s colorful side.

Kalypso will be spayed shortly and updated on her vaccines. She has tested negative for feline leukemia, been wormed, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative, given a medicated/antifungal bath, and has had a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites.

Reggie *Hold Until Healthy*

Reggie

Born appx. 2012. Reggie was abandoned in rather rough shape. He is really matted with some very serious diarrhea, which has already shown improvement with some medication in just the few days he’s been at the shelter. He is also missing all his incisors and appear to have injured his lower lip in the past. This poor cat has been through it! Stay tuned for updates. When he is healthy, he will need a home.
