These three little cuties were born to Pixie in a boat at a storage locker. As they couldn’t stay there, they ended up at the shelter. These sweeties are growing out well and will be ready for new homes around July 10.

The kittens have already received their first shot, have been wormed, treated with ant-giardia and anti-coccidia medications as preventatives, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), and have had an antifungal bath, all as a part of their adoption fee. They have been tested negative for feline leukemia. The eventual spay/neuter is also included in the adoption fee, but the kitten will need to be brought back to the vet we use when old enough.

If you are interested in adopting a kitten, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else stop in during open hours, M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1. Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to stop in and play with the kittens during open hours, no appointment necessary.

Gracie

Gracie

Gracie

Gracie is looking for a home! This beautiful, petite little girl is incredibly gentle and sweet. She adores being pet. She will even start rolling around as you pet her, she loves it so! She just loves getting attention. She also loves mackerel; she will lick her bowl clean when given a little mackerel juice as a treat. She is a quiet kitty, and is easily intimidated by lots of noise and activity. She would do best in a calm home. She loves the company of other cats, and is just fine with dogs who will respect her. She is only five pounds right now, and was likely a fall 2017 kitten. Her petite little paws suggest she won’t get much bigger; she is a little gal!

Gracie has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. She has also been wormed, including preventatives for giardia and coccidia, treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), has had an anti-fungal bath, been tested negative for feline leukemia, and has had a fecal float to check for internal parasites.

If you are interested in adopting Gracie, please contact the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else feel free to stop in, no appointment necessary, during open hours (M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1.) Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, come on by and play with the critters; they love it while they wait for their forever homes!

***Hold until Healed*** Graze

Graze, taken June 26, 2018.

This little guy was found on the side of the road, full of road rash and looking like he’s either been grazed by a passing car or taken a tumble from one. He will be alright; most of the wounds are superficial. One of his hind paws did take some serious damage, in that the vet says it looks like he will lose his outermost toe. The other three toes look like they will heal just fine, which means his foot would be plenty functional even minus one toe. Graze is super friendly and playful; he has an awesome personality! He is looking forwards to being healed enough to go start meeting the public.

Graze will be neutered and up to date on his vaccinations as a part of his adoption fee. He has also been wormed, including preventatives for giardia and coccidia, treated with a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), has had an anti-fungal bath, been tested negative for feline leukemia, and has had a fecal float to check for internal parasites.

If you are interested in adopting Graze, please contact the shelter at 507-644-3853, or else feel free to stop in, no appointment necessary, during open hours (M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1.) Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, come on by and play with the critters; they love it while they wait for their forever homes!

Cleo has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccinations. Her adoption fee also includes wormings (including preventatives for giardia and coccidia), topical flea/ear mite preventatives (revolution), a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites, a negative feline leukemia test, and a sulfur/lime bath as a preventative for skin conditions.

***Adopted!*** Chica

……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………….

Chica

Chica needs a new home! Chica is a lovely spayed female shorthair kitty who is front declawed, She was born appx. 2013. She is a quiet sort of kitty, and very, very sweet; she loves to be pet. She will lay and be pet as long as you will have her. She is fine with other cats, and tolerated the two small dogs she was exposed to. She would likely do best in a quieter home without rambunctious small children.

Chica is front declawed and spayed. As a part of her adoption fee, she has also been dewormed, treated preventatively for giardia and coccidia, given a topical flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), tested negative for feline leukemia, had a negative fecal float (tests for internal parasites), and has had an antifungal bath. She will also come up to date on her vaccines.

Tinker

Tinker

Tinker needs a new home! This butterball weighs in at 19 lbs. Can you tell he was once the pampered house pet of a sweet retired lady? She sadly passed away, and now Tinker needs a new person to spoil him. He was gotten as a kitten and kept as a pampered house pet all his life. He is used to the good life! He’s got a lot of character and is quite outspoken. While he doesn’t like to be picked up, he does love to be pet and will lay beside you to get as much affection as you will give. He is fine with other cats, though doesn’t seem to know about dogs so much. He might get used to them with time. He was born on August 21, 2012, so will shortly be turning 6 years old.

Tinker has been neutered and will come up to date on his vaccines as a part of his adoption fee. He has been treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), had a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites, and is feline leukemia negative.

If you are interested in adopting Tinker, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or stop in during open hours and meet him, no appointment necessary. (M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1.) Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to stop in and play with the critters here; they love it!

Star

Star,

Star is ready for a home! Her kittens are weaned, she has been spayed, and now she is just waiting for a family of her own. Star is a lovely longhaired lynx point Siamese mix that was originally brought to the shelter nursing 6 kittens. She also came in with a very bad ear mite infestation which had caused a terrible ear infection and a hematoma in here left ear. The hematoma had already collapsed her ear by the time she got to the shelter, resulting in a cauliflower ear. Her ear is all there; the cartilage has just been collapsed. Her infection is gone and she is feeling good these days. Star is a quieter cat that would do best in a mature household. She is fine with other cats and is currently sharing a room with several.

Star has been spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. She has been wormed, treated topically with a flea/ear mite preventative (Revolution), had an antifungal bath, had a negative fecal float to check for internal parasites, and is feline leukemia negative.

If you are interested in adopting Star, please call the shelter at 507-644-3853, or stop in during open hours and meet her, no appointment necessary. (M-F 3-7 and Sat 11-1.) Even if you aren’t looking to adopt, feel free to stop in and play with the critters here; they love it!
